Groups for you to play with - no cost, just come work on your projects and be inspired by each other.

Needlepoint group - Bring your needlepoint projects.  Use our books for stitch inspiration. 1st and 3rd Tuesday, 10:30 am to 12 pm.

Weaving Group - We know there are 15 new rigid heddle weavers who took the classes with Tammy - so - bring your loom and weave with each other.  2nd and 4th Tuesday, 10:30 am to 12 pm.

or Crochet
with Carol and Linda.  Every Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:30, a group meets to knit or crochet. It’s fun to see what everyone is doing and, maybe, be inspired a bit.

Knitting Guild -  On the first Wednesday of the month, we have had an evening group meeting for quite a while. It’s fun to see what everyone is doing. Meets from 6pm to 8 pm. Join us.

We are a full service yarn and needlework shop dedicated to providing you with the finest knitting yarn, crochet threads and needlepoint products available. We have gorgeous hand painted needlepoint and Paternayan wool. Try some specialty threads in silk and metallic to make your work truly special.

We have been in Gainesville (the home of the University of Florida) for 26 years and in the yarn business for 38 years. Visit us when you are in the area. We offer classes in knitting, crochet, needlepoint and occasionally needle tatting, spinning and needle felting. We have great sock classes using 4 needles and magic loop. You can also try a fairisle knitted bag, a lace shawl or a beaded bracelet.Check the web site for the latest updated classes.

The knitting guild meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6pm.  We have fun, learn from each other and it costs nothing.  Do come and try it out.

If you want to do charity knitting, we meet every Monday at the store at 1:30 p.m. We work on projects to be donated to local groups as well as others. Join us for a great time. You are most welcome.
